Eve is ill and 

she didn't come to school today.

Lulu is writing an email 

to her now.

Dear Eve,

亲爱的伊芙，

I'm sorry to hear that you're ill 

and can't come to school.

听说你生病了不能来学校我很难过。

Let me tell you 

what we did today.

Today we had six classes.

We had maths, English, 

Chinese and art in the morning.

We have a new maths teacher 

this term.

Her name is Sarah Black.

She is very nice.

In English class we learned

an American song Old Black Joe,

and in Chinese class

we studied a short story.

We drew pictures in art class.

I drew some flowers.

我画了一些花。

The teacher said I did a good job.

In the afternoon,

we had two classes, 

science and PE.

下午我们上了两节课，科学和体育。

Science is a new subject.

科学是一门新学科。

It's very interesting.

非常有趣。

In PE class 

we played basketball.

体育课上我们打了篮球。
